An accomplished Human Resources Manager with the Portfolio of the Civil Service (PoCS), Wendy brings nearly a decade of progressive HR experience across the public and private sectors. She manages a diverse portfolio of government departments, delivering end-to-end HR services and strategic partnerships to Chief Officers, CHROs, HR Managers, and department heads.
Wendy’s expertise spans recruitment, policy interpretation, compliance with the Public Service Management Law, and global best practice benchmarking. She plays a key role in leading government-wide initiatives, including recruitment training across ministries, and internship and onboarding programmes. A passionate advocate for professional growth, she recently presented “Building Your Personal Brand: Networking & LinkedIn Optimization” during CIG’s Learning at Work Week.
Wendy holds a first degree in Business Administration and an MSc in Human Resource Management, along with certifications in Workplace Investigations, Mental Health First Aid, and HR Management (CISHRP, aPHR). An active member of CISHRP, SHRM, and CIPD, Wendy plans to leverage her influence to strengthen collaboration between government, business, and education, driving engagement, innovation, and creating measurable impact across the Cayman Islands HR community.
